Difficult Access
When an item will not travel through the obvious route, we assess the access before selecting a crew, powered stair climber or external lifting option.

Describe the whole route
Photograph the entrance, corridors, stairs, landings, turns, basement access and the final position. Measurements should cover the narrowest point and usable turning space. A wide front door does not establish that an item can complete the route.
Powered stair climbing where suitable
Powered stair climbers can help with heavy items on stairs, subject to the load and staircase. Stair width, pitch, turns, landing space and the item’s centre of gravity affect suitability. A genuine stair-climber project photograph will be added when supplied.
When another method is needed
Restricted entrances, low headroom or an unsuitable staircase may call for another route. Crane, HIAB or external access can be considered as part of a managed solution after reviewing the property and site conditions.

Before arranging the work.
Can you confirm the method from one photograph?
Usually we need photographs of the full route, measurements and load details. If those do not establish a workable approach, further assessment may be needed.
Where can you work?
London and Surrey are our primary operating areas, with UK-wide capability for suitable projects.
Have something difficult to move?
Send us the details and photos and we’ll assess the most suitable solution.
